The Avro Canada VZ-9 Avrocar was a Cold War-era military project that, despite originally being planned as a fighter craft capable of high speeds and altitudes, ultimately resulted in what can best be described as a flying saucer / hovercar hybrid. After finding a number of archival videos of the Avrocar being tested, I decided that this engineering failure marvel deserved a retro logo animation.

I decided that the God of Thunder himself needed a bit of a rebrand. As a personal project, I created a modern set of logos for the bolt-slinger. I decided that bold colors, bold letters, and bold lightning imagery were the way to go.
