Mused 2020: Rooted Mused is a collective of creatives and friends, brought together yearly to collaborate and ultimately create a showcase of art based around a central theme. For 2020’s theme of “Rooted,” I created a series of illustrations that show explore the cyclical nature of growth. All of the artists and submissions can be found on the main Mused website.

Forget-me-nots Forget-me-nots (or Myosotis scorpioides) are a super pretty but also super invasive flower. Once seeded into an area, they’ll freely self-seed all over the surrounding area, spreading like wildfire.

Weekend Ignition This illustration was inspired by a lovely anniversary getaway with my girlfriend. Our cabin was surrounded by a few inches of snow, but we stayed warm with a roaring fire and some insanely spicy hot sauce.
